Child Safety Standards

1. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

Romance AI is an 18+ service for adults. We strictly prohibit any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, endangers or abuses minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any sexual conversation with or about a person under 18. This applies to everything users upload (screenshots, pasted conversations, WhatsApp exports, photos, prompts) and to everything they ask the assistant to generate. Accounts involved in such activity are terminated immediately.

2. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Romance AI. The app is rated for adults on Google Play and the App Store, and our Terms of Service require every user to be an adult. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts, and we delete accounts and data belonging to a user we learn is under 18.

3. Prevention in the product

  • The AI assistant is instructed to refuse and stop when a conversation indicates that any participant may be a minor, and never to produce sexual content involving minors.
  • Users may only upload conversations they are personally a participant in.
  • Content uploaded to Romance AI is private to the uploading account; there is no public feed, discovery, messaging between users, or sharing of other users' content.

4. Reporting

Anyone can report CSAE or any child-safety concern from inside the app (long-press an AI result or open Settings → Report a problem), or by emailing info@applora.io with the subject "Child safety". Reports are reviewed by a human as a priority; we take action within 24 hours, including removing content, suspending the account and preserving evidence.

5. Cooperation with authorities

We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement and child-protection authorities in the jurisdictions we operate in, in line with applicable law including the U.S. CyberTipline reporting requirements and the EU Digital Services Act.

6. Compliance with child safety laws

Romance AI complies with applicable child safety and child protection laws and with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and the Apple App Store Review Guidelines. These standards are reviewed at least annually.

7. Child safety point of contact

Designated child safety contact: Applora / MusicTune AI (developer of Romance AI) — info@applora.io. This contact can receive notifications from Google Play, Apple, law enforcement and child-safety organisations about our CSAE prevention practices.
